Little Girl
Topic: Gender identities & public mental health
7-year-old Sasha always knew that she was a girl, even if she was registered as a boy when she was born. She receives full support from her loving parents. They help their daughter buying clothes and accompany her to her therapist. But the little girl is not treated with understanding everywhere: Her teachers insist on a rigid boy-girl thinking and demand conformity. For Sasha, this means a daily struggle to be seen and recognised by her social environment as the one she really is.
