CHECKER TOBI – DIE HEIMLICHE HERRSCHERIN DER ERDE
We are delighted to invite you and your family to another special family event this year!
While tidying up the basement, Checker Tobi and Marina discover an old video recording: eight-year-old Tobi is hosting his very own show about the earth beneath our feet – and asking a question whose answer he has long since forgotten: Who actually leaves the most powerful traces in the soil?
In search of the answer, Tobi embarks on his biggest adventure yet – from the wildlife and plant life of Madagascar to the permafrost regions of Svalbard and the traces left behind by the ancient Maya in Mexico. And we’re coming along for the ride!
Alongside the film, we look forward to an engaging, child-friendly discussion on the theme “Exploring the World Beneath Our Feet.” Together with experts from science and practice, we will explore why the soil beneath our feet is so important to all of us – and what we can do together to make a difference for our planet.
Listen to our experts and bring along all your questions:
Dr. Thassilo Franke, Bavarian Natural History Collections (SNSB)
Dr. Hanitra Markolf Rakotonirina, biologist and featured in the film
Annika Hagge (moderator), Chair of Public Health and Health Services Research, Institute for Medical Information Processing, Biometry and Epidemiology (IBE)
